A Stitch in Time

One of the challenges this weekend for Stampin' Out Alzheimers was to stitch on a card somewhere. I do faux stitching from time to time but have never brought the paper over to my sewing machine, so I thought I'd give it a try.

It didn't end up being stitched as straight as I wanted so I just tried to go all wonky and crazy around the edge. I know the stamps are Stampin' Up, but I had stamped them long ago at a friend's house and I'm not sure what set it was. The sentiment is hard to read. It says: A friend is someone who makes it easy. Happy Monday!!

Smiles,

  3. This card is so cute and the sentiment is so true friends do make it easy. I keep saying I won't sew on cards but they are looking more and more interesting. Yours is great.

  4. I am loving your cards! I like the stitched look, but have never tried it myself. Can't rationalize sewing ona card when I don't enjoy any other sewing lol. Anyway - cute blog and wonderful work!

  5. I think this turned out great! The paper stitching takes some practice. That's the only reason why I got my sewing machine...don't tell DH. He thinks I got it to hem his pants. LOL
