One small kiss...

Happy Saturday morning and welcome to another Sketch it Saturday from Unscripted Sketches!

I had a magnet on my fridge with all the important numbers I may need to contact my insurance company. At the end of summer we're switching insurance so I decided to take that blah magnet and dress it up to be functional.

I'm loving my new set of Kids Quotes and can picture creating a few more magnets with them.
**Edited to add: The Kids Quote set came from AC Moore. I'd admired it in the stamp aisle a few times and happened upon it in the SALE aisle at the back of the store...nowhere near the stamps! It was meant to be and only $4.99.
This one measures 2 1/4" x 3 3/4" and I love that it is both decorative and functional. I hope you find time to take today's sketch and create something great with it. Be sure to check out all the rest of the DT's great work by clicking on their names on my sidebar.

  3. These are just too cute! Where did you find them in a set? I've seen single stamps, but never a set. What a darling magnet you have created, and what a grand idea! We all have outdated fridge magnets!

  4. CUTE! I just read on Pam Speidel's blog that these are available in a set now---but not on Inkadinkado's website!!! SO inquiring minds want to know where you got them!!! I might have to make a trip to ACM or Mike's!

  6. That is a great set. We don't have a store like that around here, but it looks like you have found a treasure.

    It's a good life!

  8. Very nice! What a great place the world would be if everyone followed this little girls advice. I can see why you wanted the stamp. Great job reusing the magnet. First grade teachers are good at making good use of a magnet.

  10. What a coincidence. Just today I salvaged and old magnet with plans to dress it up. Of course I'll proably never get around to it :-)

Your's is adorable. I have seen a lot of those kid's quotes stamps and they all bring a smile to me.
