Welcome to a fun blog hop...just because we're nice!!! It's been a long first week of school for me, and I know the 7 other teachers on my 1st grade team will surely agree. I'm usually one of the first ones into work each morning (I like it in the am because it's quiet and my head is clear) so I threw together a little surprise to leave on everyone's desk. TGIF!
Did you know there's a clearance rack at Staples?!?!? What a great discovery, because when I stumbled up on it I found a huge back of fun clips for $5!!! If I plan on being organized and spreading cheer, it may as well be a colorful endeavor. Here's the bunch for everyone, which I threw together with scraps once I tracked down some bags.
If you haven't already checked out Operation NICE be sure to head there after you hop to the next NICE stop....LaiLani.
This is cute!!! I bet the teachers like them...everybody likes a sweet surprise..
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice thing for you to do! The teachers will be thrilled. Today is alread the first professional development day in our district. Go figure...already a day off for the kids! Anyway, great project, and you are such a sweetie!

Great Idea!!! This is sooo sweet of you to give these out!! Happy Friday!!@
ReplyDeleteCaryl, That was so nice and thoughtful. How did you have the energy to do it on Friday. I sent the ladies I work with flowers on the first day. It was very small. I set it all up before the first day of school. I am so exhausted when I leave school. The first week is hard.
ReplyDeleteWhat a thoughtful gift for your workmates. I know what it's like, I'm a high school teacher when not on maternity leave.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your new school year. We're just coming to the end of Term 3 for the school year here, so my husband's very busy with marking and reporting!

love these! What a great idea, TFS!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I sure the teachers really enjoyed your gift! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHow nice! I always loved this kind of pick-me-up as a teacher (and I was always grateful for free supplies). Thanks for the bloggy love; it was nice meeting you through this hop. :)
ReplyDeleteHow cool! I bet there were loads of smiling teachers that day! Neat idea!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun little gift idea for your fellow teachers. I see a lot of people making goodie bags with little chocolates in them but I keep thinking that, although that's really nice, those of us on diets (like me) would be too tempted by that. Your idea of the clips is appropriate for anyone. And such great colors.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading the story of "Fred".
What a great idea -- and a great little surprise to be found on the desks!
