A day late, but it's time for some blog candy in honor of my one year blogaversary!!!
But first, a story. As soon as I saw Michelle Wooderson make THIS, I knew I had to drag out my sewing machine to make a bag and a notepad too. I thought it would be the perfect Yankee Swap gift (along with homemade bread, yum) and got to work....three hours before I needed it. Nothing like procrastination! And needless to say it didn't get done in time, has been sitting half finished four two weeks but what better reason than candy?!?
The bag is a Jane Market bag (pattern HERE on the Posie Gets Cozy blog) and while I was very much not happy with my finished sewing it got the seal of my mom's approval tonight. Yay!
It also comes with a matching notepad, that opens up to reveal two notepads....I always have more than one list going, how about you?
And it can be YOURS!!! To enter for this candy just follow a few easy steps:
1. Be a follower
2. Leave me a comment telling me what you would use the bag (or list) for.
*To be entered TWICE, spread the word and post about my candy on your blog.
I'll pick a winner on December 23rd, so you can have this bag and notepad for a late Christmas present. Start 2010 off green and organized....I hope to!

ReplyDeleteI have become a follower! Great blog! I also gave a shout out over on my blog. I would like to say that I would love to have this bag to keep notes and take my books to my meeting - but I have this sinking feeling that my 9 year old daughter would automatically think it was hers. 1. Because green is her favorite color. 2. Because she loves tote bags and 3. she loves journals and 4. I have spoiled her. Sigh!
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous candy, lovely bag, and I need bag! Need notebook becouse I am translating and need to do notes! And bag is just wright for books that I am traveling here and there!

ReplyDeleteHi Caryl, Happy Blogaversary! I love the bag. I would use it for library books and the note pad would be for writing down the books I have read and the ones I want to read. I have to write down everything!
ReplyDeleteBoy you have been a busy girl. I am feeling overwhelmed again. I haven't posted a card or entered any challenges the past week. I am really looking forward to break. I'll post your candy but it might take me a day or two. I'll let you know when I do. Have fun reading all your comments and enjoy your blogaversary! Hugs,Linda
new follower! :)
ReplyDeleteIf I won I'd give it to my aunt she'd adore it and because she's as forgetful as me I'm sure she'd use the note pad to write reminders to herself :)
I would probably just hang it up so I could stare at it - it's beautiful!!! But if I wanted to be practical, I'd use it for a shopping bag.

ReplyDeleteIf I won, this would be my new library bag. We visit the library around three times a week, and our old bag is just about worn out. Love the blue and green colour scheme, so so beautiful :)
i would love to use this bag for transporting all the crafty bits and sensory items i bring to school each day. i work in a school exclusively for students with developmental and physical disabilities and the budget is low so i supplement the classroom with many of my own supplies to aid the students.
