But on a happier note, it's time for a fun and funky Unscripted Sketch!
I loved the torn edge of the sketch so I turned it up a notch and did two layers. Tomorrow I'm heading up a team for the local MS Walk and the colors The National MS Society uses for their walks are green and orange. This card even matches the t-shirts I'm making up for the team. (I'll share those tomorrow Mom, they're stitches even if I didn't stitch them!) This is one of many thank you's headed out to my generous family and friends who have supported me in my fund raising. I did the swirl stamp in the background and added the swirl thickers afterwards for a bold color to ground it all.
I do hope you'll head over to Unscripted Sketches this week to play along and check out the other fabulous work the DT made with this sketch!
Oh I love your card! The torn edge looks great and love the swirls. Good luck on your walk tomorrow I hope the weather is better. That is cool you are making t-shirts. I hope you post them.
ReplyDeleteI am down to the 30's for day left at school. I think it is flying by but the days seem so long when I am there. Crazy!
Good luck tomorrow!
Hug,
Linda
oh i would just sit down and cry if i saw more snow! i am so snowed out that even a snow cone sounds awful!!!
ReplyDeletebut your card is absolutely gorgeous!!! sure hope the sun shines for you soon.
It's been kind of wintery here too but thankfully, no snow.
ReplyDeleteThis is fun and cheerful. And what a coincidence that you used stars and swirls. The card I made today has those same elements.
This card is fantastic Caryl, your edging is super and your colors and shapes really make this card! Enjoy the snow, you'll be sweating before ya know it! Beth
