That little square was my nemesis tonight so I moved it and took control of the situation! Rather than the scallop, I did a torn edge of white. I haven't done a torn edge in a while and I think it gives the card a more earthy feel.
Paper: Washington Apple DSP, Pumpkin Pie, Brilliant Blue, Whisper White, Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip

Great job on this sketch! I really like how you stampted a portion of the butterfly and colored it in. I think the torn edge was a good choice.
ReplyDeletegood job on the sketch! i love the butterfly "spotlight"...very nice!
ReplyDeleteGreat card Caryl! I love the square. What a great idea. And the torn edge is a nice change from a scallop edge. It really does give it more of an earthy feel.
ReplyDeleteI really like the colors you picked. I'm loving turquoise and orange lately. I'm thinking I need those colors in my sewing room. We need to get Dad on that.

I agree that the torn edge goes nicely with the earthy butterfly. I just LOVE that you colored part of the butterfly in and highlighted it with the great sentiment..............just beautiful! :>
ReplyDeleteI like the torn edge too, although my favorite part is the butterfly! I'm all about butterflies!! Beautiful card Caryl!
