you make me smile

It's Saturday, the sun is trying to shine and I'm feeling well rested. What more could you ask for? How about a sketch from Unscripted Sketches? Here's my take on this week's fab sketch:

The words surrounding the picture were my starting point...a rub-on I found lying around. Once I put it on a Regal Rose scrap it seemed like the type was more green than vanilla. It was like a snowball just continually building with each step.

I hope our Unscripted Sketch inspires you to create something....can't wait to see what it is! And be sure to check out all the DT's inspiration----> just click on their names on my sidebar. Hope the sun is shining where you are (and that it stays shining here!).

  1. Oh my, don't you just LOVE snowballs in June? Tee hee - love your card - it DOES make me smile! I like that you picked up on the lettering looking green, and matted your flowers with green! Actually, the whole darn card makes me want a bowl of rainbow sherbert! Great job!!!

  2. This is too darned pretty! I love building a card from one thing...but mine don't always work out how I want.

  3. This is SO pretty. I really like the idea of the rubons around your image. Really makes it stand out.

  4. Very pretty! The colors are so soft and go well together. Great job!

  5. What a sweet card! I love how it came out!

  6. aren't rubons the best! funny rubon story. i was "saving" one that had already been cut from it's sheet adn it was on my desk in our home in germany--it got packed up and as i was unloading my stuff (8 weeks later)i found that rubon that i had been saving..still ready to use! it cracked me up! anyway, love the rubon! and i love the soft colors!

  7. Super sweet! I just love the colors!
