With school, work at my second job, and being on the negotiation team with my teacher's union I've had little to no time for making cards. A few weeks ago I created an assembly line in a basket with a simple layout and a fun stamp set given to me by a coworker at my last school. So now at night when I'm relaxing on the couch I can put together 6-10 cards like the one below. It's also a great chance to use up scraps of ribbon for the bow.
I found the sentiment at Michael's recently. They had an endcap full of clear stamps, sold individually, each for $1.49. What a deal! All of the cards I made like this are headed overseas thanks to Operation Write Home (formerly Cards for Heroes). Leave a comment here with some love and I'll pick a winner (US only please--Edited to say: Okay, I'll send anywhere, it is WORLD card making day after all!) to get some fun card making candy...I'll pick the winner sometime after 6pm Sunday evening. If you're a follower I'll enter your name TWICE!
Now head on over to Dawn to continue on the hop. Hope you find time to make some cards today, and think about sending a few to our heroes too!
