Ever have stampers block? I did! I attempted about 40 cards before finally finishing this one. Which stinks because my husband was playing Wii golf with his brother and I knew I had a couple hours of uninterupted stamping time. This is all that came of it besides a lot of scraps into the recycling bin.
I used this week's Card Positioning Systems sketch to make this. Once I pulled out my Garden Tea Party paper it came together easy peasy. Hopefully with the snow coming in the next few days I'll be doing not much more than shoveling and creating. I'm mailing a box off to OWH tomorrow too and I know that always helps to have one less thing to worry about meeting a deadline for!

Sure do like seeing you online dear friend! I love your card - we are always our own worst critics. I think perhaps you have told ME that now and then! lol...Great job, Caryl!
ReplyDeleteSorry you were frustrated with your cardmaking today!!! This is so pretty, though...TFS!
ReplyDeleteLOL - really I laughed out loud on this one, because I've had quite a few of those crafting times :-) Love the card you ended up with!
ReplyDeleteCute!!! Love this. I am glad I am not the only one with more scraps than cards in a night LOL...My hubby LOVES Wii golf!
ReplyDeleteI was so excited to see your name over at Flourishes Timeless Tuesday as the winner...congrats!
ReplyDeleteThis is really pretty. Love that paper as the focal point.
ReplyDeleteI have bad mojo days from time to time. I have learned that when nothing is going right and I'm making more scraps than cards that it's time to leave the craft room, shut the door and wait for inspiration to hit again rather than force it and make my mojo disappear for weeks.
So did you get much snow? I looked at the forecast for NH since I have family there (a sister in Nashua and and Aunt and Uncle in Holderness) and it didn't look like it was going to be a whole lot. Or maybe you already had a whole lot the last couple of days?
I've been meaning to try this sketch challenge, but I haven't found the time yet! LOL I LOVE what you've done with it! The dsp and colors are just dreamy!
