Mother's Day Mojo

I heard that this week's sketch for Mojo Monday was challenging, and the rumors were correct. This is the exact opposite of a CAS card, but my husband's grandmother will love it:

What do you think? I don't have any Mother's Day stamps (and haven't made any other cards for Sunday!) so I printed this sentiment on the computer, using the Pristina font. This card is also for this week's Created By Courtney challenge to use flowers. We've got plenty of showers in NH, now we just need some of these May flowers to bloom!

Smiles,

Paper: Regal Rose, Chocolate Chip, Textured White, Green Galore, Candy Lane DSP, Pixie Pink

Ink: Green Galore, Black(inkjet sentiment)

Stamps: In Full Bloom (SU!)

Other: Cuttlebug Folder, Sandylion stickers (flowers, butterfly), scallop border punch (SU!), Certainly Celery grosgrain ribbon

  6. You did a terrific job with this sketch. Your colors are so pretty and those flowers are adorable.

I think it's terrific that you printed your sentiment on the computer. That way you can choose any size and font. I always mean to do that when I can't find something appropriate in my "sentiments" drawer. But that would require going downstairs (my craft room is on the second floor, office on the first), trying not to get distracted by the internet before opening my Word program, figuring out what font, what color, what size...... Too much!

    Happy Teacher's Day!
