I happened upon Crafty Creations this week and they posed a challenge to use purple. I don't think I use purple much so I ran with the idea! I ended up with two cards.

The card on the left uses Almost Amethyst cardstock and Lavendar Lace ink for the Celebrate sentiment. The card on the right is on a Pale Plum base with Lavendar Lace ink again. I love the purple sparkly ribbon however! Both of these cards will be going to my Aunt Greta in the days leading up to her 106th birthday which you can read about HERE.

  1. Thanks for joining us at Crafty Creations with 2 lovely cards!!! Beautiful work!

    Sweet greetings,
    Saskia :)

  2. Both of these are so good! I love them.
    106!!! WOW

  3. These are both very nice. What a great idea to make a bunch of cards ahead of time and bring them to your reunion for other family members to sign.

  4. Very pretty! Wow, what a wonderful thing to be celebrating someones 106th birthday!! I love that you celebrate the days leading to her birthday too!! I'm so glad you decided to give our challenge a try. I hope to see you again at Crafty Creations Challenges!

  5. Very lovely cards! Thanks for joining us at CCC this week.

  6. The soft colors on these cards are just great. Love the color scheme that you chose, and the ribbon is just the right touch!
